LDX#40 - Content

This page contains the musical output. New material is occasionally in production and will be pusblished here at irregular intervals.

The songs are an attempt to fuse 'classic' C64 sounds, well known from games and demos, with contemporary electronic music and to spice it all up with a good deal of dilettantism.

Tech Trivia: All songs were created with the Soundmaster 3.1 - some on original hardware, some in emulation on a PC.

Songs
All songs are available on kunstscheisse.net as mp3s in good quality. Downloading and non-commercial spreading is strongly encouraged! For people who want to burn a CD of the songs created until 2006, there's a cover for an album called 'Missing Link': [download (228K)] [view] Pure single C64 songs are also available in the .sid format. .sid files are very small (usually less than 10K) and contain the original C64 sound data. They can be played in emulation on any OS utilizing the SIDPLAYer. To get a little advance impression, older songs can be listened to with JukeLDX (opens in seperate browser window). The SIDPlug plugin is required.
